Great Stuff. I have had 8 of the books in the WoD series for quite a while. These additions helped a lot bring the life back to the system I have read over and over again. Lisa A. Most prior supplements are still usable with the new rules. The main things that need adjustment are rules that connect to the combat system, like Fighting Styles. So what about all the books prior to these 2nd ed. Blood and Smoke actually makes reference in sidebars to things like Requiem for Rome and Sacraments and Blasphemies.
Or you could probably leave it the same, for the most part. Having dipped into the 1st edition Blue Books after reading over the God-Machine update, I actually found that most of them are pefectly usable with the new rules.
Since RPGs were invented, there have been new editions which make older material outdated. Nine years of releases is certainly nothing to sneeze at. I think that stuff is really valuable, particularly for novice groups. How much need will there be for those of us who bought the God Machine Chronicle to buy the new Core book? I agree with Eolirin. Damn… will this update be just for the Core Books, or are you planning on releasing all the extra books again too?
I was planning for a big buy of supplements, but if you guys are going to release this stuff with 2ed ruling… i might just wait D:. Why …because some of the changes have seriously impacted upon certain aspects. Example; huge changes to coils, changes to the way you learn non clan disciplines. Impact a character sworn to the mysteries cannot drink another kindreds blood….. Just to rise off the top of my head. And if they are not forth coming I be sticking with systems that are add one with all they do is break the current setups.

Sadly, for all that Print on Demand technology has improved immensely, it's still not quite the equal to a good offset print run like the original NWoD books.
Thank you Michael for the answer! Yea I was waiting for other quality, but it still ok! Thank you. I have a standard heavyweight copy of Exalted 3. It's perfectly usable, and still quite nice, but the colour is a bit washed out and unsaturated compared to the premium books I have.
The CofD book is so dark, full of blacks and dark blues, so it would probably come out more grey and flat, and some of the detail in the very dark illustrations might be a little harder to make out. But the text should be just as readable, when on a light background.
